Home for a few weeks

It's been a hard term for me this last few months and I am really looking forward to my 5 weeks off, well sort of, 2 of those weeks I will be teaching a summer school and the other I will be doing some CPD, so 3 weeks in my workshop, heaven, I can't wait.

I am finding the the more baby sitting at the college and the less teaching I do I am becoming more restless,I need to keep my brain busy, baby sitting young adults just doesn't cut it for me so I may be looking for pastures new over the holiday, I need to be busy.
I think I must have watched ever video on youtube over the last year, every now and then having to shout at the students to shut up and do some work, annoying little turds that they are.  I am often asked why I teach if I hate it so much, i reply that its not the teaching I hate it the fucking students, and, so I am told, I am very good at what I do, which is probably my downfall, I often ask myself how can I continue when I really don't need to work, ermmmmm,not sure, maybe I should retire while I am still alive and spend my time living in my workshop doing things I want to.

So whats planed for the next few weeks, I am writing 2 new courses, should be fun, and I am hopefully going to build a bass guitar, also I will be getting my beloved motorbike restored so I can ride it next summer, so my list is, Build 3 guitars, Sort out motorbike and have some fun and down time, down time being something I am not very good at, I get bored really quick.
