So today is my last day at work, thank god for that, this year has been a real struggle with a bunch of very needy and idiot students.
I am obviously getting too old to deal with them for 7 hours a day, the needies are a real pain, they use their mental health to squirm out of assignments and any work that I set them, and I am getting pissed off with it, as an example, one student is on the "Asperger's" spectrum and he has to look at everything I have when I bring it into the classroom, i.e. a note pad with some of my notes in, he just pickes it up and starts reading it, so I ask, what are you doing? he replies, looking at the notes, Fuck off you nosey little turd I say, he replies but I want to know whats going on, WTF, if I leave my laptop open he will go through the files to see whats on the computer, so I speak to the support staff who tell me that he just needs to know or he gets aggitated and nervious, so what I'm thinking is this, he's not looking through my shit. I have to date upset hime nearly every day, and the staff are telling me that I am being mean, MEAN? Fuck off thats all I have got to say on this issue.
Anyway, on to the holidays, and yes I mean Christmas, as you all know I just hate Chrismas, in fact I have been walking around the college wearing my Bah Humbug hat and jumper, Christmas is for the under 8's, once they get past that age the little buggers know it's all about the money, my son, bless him, knows my feelings about Christmas and doesn't make a big thing about it when he is around me, but I know he just loves this time of year and really gets into it, it helps this year as his new partner has a 2 year old, so I wish him and his new instant family a great time, so what will I be doing this Christmas, I will be clearing out my studio and installing all my new specialist tools for my new hobby that is Guitar making and reapairs.
I have been playing guitar for over 45 years so it's nothing new to me, but building a guitar from scratch is on my bucket list, those close to me know that if I do something, I am going all out on it and do it properly, that incluse all the right gear, also, all the right ideas, so a new venture for me, so I am going to be an Astrologer/Horologist/Luthier, should look cool on my business card, LOL.
