So it's started, those damn songs in shops that send you insane, yes I am talking about Christmas song, if I hear Noddy Holder sceaming IT"S CHISTMAS one more time I am going to rip that speakers from the store ceilings and never visit the shop again.
Already in the office the kids are hanging tinsel, lights and balls everywhere, FFS, it's the 1st of December, Christmas don't start until midnight the 24th, and finishes midnight 26, or so it should, I have made my corner of the office a christmas free zone, I FUCKING HATE CHRISTMAS, yes that's right I hate it, when my son was little I tollerated it, I even put decorations and trees up, as far as I am concerned it's a kids holiday and a parents finacial disaster, christmas is now all about who is going to buy presents for who? Why? the only people really enjoying Christmas are the retailers, they live for this time of year.
So why do I hate it so much, well I am a real Ebanezer Scrooge, however, unlike Eb, I will not be embracing Christmas , ever, so all those idiots in the office are wasting their time trying to convince/convert me to enjoy this time of year. I have never enjoyed Christmas, even as a kid, and don't get me started on New Years eve, what the fuck is different from one day to the next, NOTHING.
Anyway, noting more than you would expect from a grumpy old git like me, moaning about santa's and glitter that gets everywhere, so I will not be wishing anyone a Merry Christmas, all I will say is I hope you get what you deserve.
